How to use the 3D view?
1. Switching between 2D & 3D views
Switch between 2D layers and 3D views using View button from right panel in an open Site :
2. Split View: Gallery / 3D
It is possible to use the Gallery mode in order to make the relationship between the original 2D images and the Point Cloud:
This is applicable to the different categories of supported imagery, e.g. thermal images here in a grayscale:
3. Single image locations in 3D View
From the Layer Panel, tick Image locations, that will be displayed as ball markers on the 3D view. Clicking one this markers will open the single image in the information panel on the right side:
4. Enabling & Disabling the 3D Layers
Select layers to be displayed from the Base Layers section in the bottom part of the left panel:
5. Classified Point Clouds
For a classified point cloud, click on layer in the left panel to open the information panel on right side, go to the Material section after having selected Classes: a color chart enables identification of each class:
6. Exporting Point Clouds
From the Download section, .las files can be selected and exported for further use with a third-party software. Please note that point clouds generated from a process conducted in Alteia (e.g. a point cloud from a photogrammetry process ) are in standard . las 1.2.
7. Supported Point Cloud Formats
.las format is currently supported, in standards 1.2 & 1.4.
8. 3D Models
From a 3D view, switch between available 3D items from the Base Layers section:

Wireframe
With a 3D mesh model, you can display or hide the wireframe from the Style section of the model information panel:
