Grid Designer

This tool allows you to generate a custom grid to better visualize and analyse your tree inventory analytics.

1. Inputs and parameters

  • Field boundaries defining the area of interest (How to create a Field Boundaries‍)
  • Tile size: size of the tiles of your grid in meters
  • Suffix: suffix to add to the result name. A space is used as a separator
  • Keep Original Index: If set, the original index is indicated as attribute in the output vector

2. Deliverables

Grid: geojson


3. Workflow

Step 1. Select the Grid Designer from the Analytic catalog under the Agriculture - Plantation & Forestry category.

Step 2. Select the polygon representing your field boundaries and define the Tile size (in meters) and the Suffix (none as default). Also you can keep the original index.

Step 3. Launch the grid designer.



4. Results

The grid layer will appear under the “Input data” menu.

Delete

The grid vector (.geojson) is downloadable from the Download menu.
