Quick Guide to the Alteia Interface
The first page you see after logging in is the starting page of the Alteia platform. Here you see an overview of the company's site(s) and their physical location(s) on the map.
The starting page of the Alteia interface has quick access to company sites, user management icons, and the Upload Survey button.
The "Company", located in the top-left corner, is the highest level entity in your account and is often the name of the company you work for. As a user you view one company at a time but you can manage multiple and move between them.
A project within a "Company" is referred to as a "Site." The starting page provides you with a geographical layout of each site. To drill down into a specific site, you select it from the drop down in the menu bar along the top, or select it directly on the map.
To add data or images to a selected site, you add a new "Survey."
The 2D View
Within a specific site, you have the option to view it in both 2D and 3D.
In 2D, you have the option to view the available layers, the annotations and measurement tools, and the asset data for that site in a nadir-view display.
Within the survey, use the annotations and measurements tools to make annotations directly on the survey data.
The 3D View
Select the 3D button on the right-hand side and use the 3D tools to navigate the survey data. Then, select the layers you wish to display from the "Base Layers" section.
