This guide walks you through creating a Data Stream.

Prerequisite

• Ensure you have a Data Stream template configured for your account. Contact Alteia Support if you need template configuration assistance
• Ensure your credential are configured for your data source and destination

Step-by-Step Creation Guide

Step 1 - Click on “+ DATA STREAM” to create a new Data Stream.

Step 2- Select a Data Stream template.

Step 3 - Click on "DATASTREAM CONFIGURATION".

Step 4 - Enter the data Stream Information.

- Template and company: information inherited from the template, corresponding to the name of the template and the company in which the datastream will be created 

The requested information depends on the template configuration

- Global Information Section

- Name : Data Steam name

- Data capture - start date and end date data capture  : When the data was captured. 

- Source setting Section

For Cloud Storage Sources:

- Source Link: data source URL

- Credential name: the credential name to use to connect to the data source

For Aether source (Asset manager / Insight):

- Namespace, collection name and Measure name : to select the data you wish to export. e.g. work zone data

- Data selection - from date and Data selection - to date : filter for relevant data

- Export setting Section (Optional)

- Destination Link: target storage URL

- Credential name: the credential name to use to connect to the data destination  

- Target setting Section (Optional)

In some cases, you may need to export data to a specific project. This need must be configured in the data flow template, and will enable the project to be selected when the data flow is created.

- Target company: Select the company of the project 

- Target project:  Select the project  

Step 5 - Click on the "CREATE DATA STREAM" and "CONFIRM" to validate the creation

Results

• Your Data Stream starts automatically
• Real-time monitoring becomes available
• Data processing begins according to your configuration

Important Notes

• Data capture - Start date is crucial for vegetation analysis
• Credentials must be configured and updated
• Template selection determines available options
